• Visit to Glenridding with a journey on the lake ‘steamer.’ • We travel to Hawkshead with its delightful cottages and cobbles, then

Friday After breakfast we depart for home. • Keswick on the banks of Ullswater.
• We venture into the Yorkshire Dales and the small market town
of Kirby Lonsdale before continuing on to Skipton, known as the
‘Gateway to the Dales,’ with its superb market.
• Settle, one of the most picturesque towns in Ribblesdale with its
narrow streets and views of the 300ft Castleberg Crag.
• Kendal with its castle ruins, quaint cobbled streets, antique shops,
K Village shopping outlet, and of course the famous ‘Kendal mint cake.’
