Each year since 2006, the

British Coach Tourism
Awards is held where
deserving winners from
across the sector are

crowned the very best
in the business.

Bakers Dolphin were proud to win two
prestigious awards at the March 2018
British Coach Tourism Awards at the

annual ceremony. ‘Coach Operator of the
Year (Large Fleet) 2018’ and ‘Driver of the
Year’ who was Michael Blowers.

It is a huge accolade from our industry
and underlines our commitment to value
and service that we have held dear for

over 130 years.

The judges were looking for a large fleet
tour operator that could demonstrate

a commitment to quality, innovation
and training, with an excellent industry
reputation, together with examples of how

it developed and enhanced its offering.

The judges said, “One of the oldest coach
operators in the country demonstrates

how modern and up-and-coming it is
– including a clear investment in both
new vehicles and new technology.”
They were particularly impressed by our

dedication to safety, personal service,
and professional marketing. The judges
also appreciated that we are a business
that goes above and beyond the coach

industry standard, which helps to raise the
profile of the industry as a whole.
